I started running in Jr High and had success in the distance events in high school, placing at state in cross country and track senior year. I ran for Purdue and competed in 2 NCAA Championships in cross country.

I started running track in 7th grade and found a lot of success when I began running the 400m dash. In high school I was a 2-time state qualifier in the 400m and went on to run at Purdue University where I competed in the 400m, 600m, 400m hurdles, and the 4x400 relay.

My dad and Grandpa Lewark immersed me into the track and field world only days after being born, and I continued to soak up the sport next to my grandpa while he coached at West Lafayette High School. I ran distance events as a kid, but I currently have fun training myself for long sprints. My two favorite track events to coach/run/spectate are the 400m and 800m.

I competed for San Francisco State University as a horizontal jumper (long & triple jump) after participating in track and field since middle school. I have been active in the TF community for almost 20 years either as a coach or athlete. I love the jumps but have fallen in love with coaching all events at this point.
