39th Annual Elementary Track and Field Meet

Pre-K through 6th Grade

Sunday, May 18th, 2025 (please check in 30 minutes before your 1st event)

@ West Lafayette Salisbury Athletic Complex

Limitations: No more than 3 "running" events for each athlete (can have additional field events)
Pre-Registration Only: All entries are due by Thursday, May 15th ONLINE ONLY
Entry Fee: $5 per event

Awards: Ribbons for all participants


THERE WILL BE NO GUARANTEE OF SAME DAY REGISTRATION

The Purdue Area Track Club (staffed by the West Lafayette JH and HS coaches) summer information flyers will be available at the check in table on Sunday afternoon.

Club membership is not required for this meet, only event entry fees ($5 each event). Helps to partially cover awards and officials.


Approximate Event Time Schedule

  • 12:15 pm - Long Jump (3 measured jumps)

    • Shot Put (3 throws, 4lb shot for PK - 4th grade and 6 lbs for 5-6 grade)

    • Turbo Jav (3 throws, 300 gram Jav)

  • 1:00 pm – 65m Hurdles (5 flight of hurdles or "Banana Steps")

    • Prek - K (12" Banana Steps)

    • 1st - 2nd (18"Banana Steps)

    • 3rd - 4th Grade (22" hurdles)

    • 5th - 6th Grade (26" hurdles)

      *The following time schedule is approximate!

  • 1:45 pm* 100m Dash

  • 2:20 pm* 1600m Run

  • 2:45 pm* 400m Dash

  • 3:00 pm* 200m Dash

  • 3:30 pm* Completion of meet
