General Practice Information
Sixth grade and younger are typically introduced to all of the track & field events through a series of stations that are administered by High School and College athletes. Events include sprints, hurdles, Long Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault, Turbo-Javelin, Shot Put & Discus. Activities/skills include starts, hand offs & speed development. A “distance” group is offered 2 or 3 times as well. Older athletes (JH and older) will be more specialized in a particular event of their choice and may work in a smaller group with a high school coach or Purdue athlete. Contact Coach Custer personally for this request. The location is at the Salisbury Athletic Complex, 1000 Cumberland Ave., WL.
The location is at the Salisbury Athletic Complex, 1000 Cumberland Ave, West Lafayette. Older athletes (JH and older) "may" be accommodated, but please check with Lane Custer before registering. Our emphasis is on introducing athletes younger than JH age rather than experienced athletes but private coaching can be arranged.
When is the PATC program?
The club practices/meets are held during the first 2 weeks of summer vacation, Monday through Thursday. Practices will be Mondays and Tuesdays (May 29th, May 30th, June 5th & June 6th, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm and meets will be Wednesdays and Thursdays (May 31st, June 1st, June 7th & June 8th at approximately 5:30 pm to 7:15 pm (meets may run a bit longer than practices depending on your events).

How much does the PATC cost and how do we sign up?
The club cost is $50 per person which covers staff pay, summer club dues & free entry into the four summer meets. We will have a “spirit wear” link for purchase of PATC printed active wear, simply connect to our web site to register & purchase items.
We will also have the 4 session option (any 4 of the 8 sessions) for $30 and 3 or more Family members are $40 each!
